He is Kal-El of Krypton, and he has chosen to fulfill his destiny.
The first Kryptonian stone has been awakened, and it calls to him. Ignoring the pleas of the Earth woman Martha Kent to have her son back, Kal-El looks to the skies and embraces his Kryptonian heritage. All the while, Clark Kent can only watch, trapped in his own body by the artificial intelligence which claims to be the memory and will of his biological father.
